Web Developer (Local to Phoenix, AZ.)
Tempe, AZ
3 Months Contract to Hire

Only GC/Citizens/EAD

LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY PLEASE.

This candidate must have experience taking design files from a creative team and converting into web pages using HTML. They also must have experience "cutting" up these graphics and formatting images using CSS.

Education: BS in technology field such as Information Systems, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field is preferred but not required.
Required Experience:
* A minimum of 3 years Web development experience, including experience coding the following technologies:
o C#.Net development experience
o ASP.NET
o MS SQL experience, including writing stored procedures
o JavaScript
o Cascading Style Sheets
o ADO.Net
o Basic PhotoShop skills

Desirable Experience and Skills:

* Microsoft Active Server Pages
* Understanding of current popular browsers and how to tailor code appropriately for cross-browser consistency
* Understanding Web usability best practices
* Understanding of Web site search optimization techniques and best practices
* Knowledge of Flash, AS2 or AS3.
* Web site design experience (a plus, but not the focus of this position)
Other Success Factors:
* Ability to function independently with direction from the team lead
* Self-starter that, given two options, would opt for action rather than approval
* Able to work with an internal team to make sure the client gets what was promised * on time, on budget and to satisfaction
* Demonstrated organization skills
* Shows ability to articulate thoughts well
* Creative thinker: able to take problems of customers and offer solutions based on our core competencies
