Job Title                                  :           C/C++ Developer with UPnP experience

Job Type (Contract)                 :           6-12 Months

Location                                   :           Hillsboro, OR (Locals Preferred BUT NOT REUIRED)

UPnP is an industry standard, This is Mandatory

Primary Skill:   TCP/IP

Other Skills:      Audio; C; C++; JAVA; JAVASCRIPT; LINUX; Programming; SOFT

Roles & Responsibilities

 Years of Experience & Expertise Level:

• 5/7 Years experience.
• Proficient in C, C++, TCP/IP, Linux, UPnP, Streaming Audio/Video; A/V codecs

Project Description:

Prototyping reference implementation for UPnP AV version 4.0 specification. UPnP AV 4.0 adds various new features (e.g. content monikers, user identification, clock synchronization, renderer side transforms, etc) to past UPnP AV specifications. The CW will be responsible for reviewing specifications, writing an architecture document, implementing the software, and participating in testing/Interop events.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Reviewing specifications
• Writing an architecture document
• Implementing the software
• Participating in testing/Interop events

Necessary Skills (Must Have):

• C and C++ Programming
• Linux
• TCP/IP Networking, UPnP
• Streaming audio/video; Codecs
• Windows (working knowledge)
• UPnP

Additional Skills Desired (Nice to Have):

• DLNA
• Java / C#
• Software validation
