Job Title: JAVA Developer w/ Mainframe
Location: Baltimore, MD (In-Person Interview on Own Expenses)
Duration: 6 Months plus
Rate- 35-40/Hr

 Java Developer with experience working in mainframe environment. The desired candidate should also possesse experience with JCL, TSO, ISPF, and other mainframe tools.  Experience working in Legacy to web conversion application will be desired.
 
Skills Requirements:
At least 5+ years experience with Object-Oriented analysis, design and development.
5+years  experience with Java programming language at the Java 1.5+ SDK level Experience with Java Web Services using AXIS2, SOAP
Familiarity  with Web Services Security is a plus
Proficiency with File handling in Java.
6+ years of extensive experience with J2EE Technology: Servlet, JSP, EJB, Web Service.
Proficiency with XML Technology.
Practical knowledge of SQL. Experience using DB2 a plus.
Experience with DHTML (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Experience with one or more version control systems, preferably MKS or CVS.
Proficiency with one or more application containers, preferably IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS). Experience with an Eclipse-based IDE (such as IBM WebSphere Application Developer or WSAD) is preferred.
Development experience with multiple platforms, preferably Windows, z/OS, Unix/Linux.
Experience with JCL, TSO, ISPF, and other mainframe tools.
Experience with mainframe-based software configuration management systems such as ENDEVOR 

Education and Certifications:
Sun Certified Java certification or equivalent.
