My name is Raja Ramanathan and I represent the Allied Solutions Group, Inc. an Inc 500 Company with headquarters at Cleveland, Ohio. We provide IT consulting service for our clients' across the United States and UK.

 

Specifically, the opportunity that I would like to discuss with you is for "COGNOS DEVELOPMENT RESOURCE " with my direct client.

 

Job Description:

 

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3+ months

Hoffman Estates, IL

 

Required Skills / Experience:

·         5+ years of Cognos experience in dashboarding, report generation and design.

·         Should have excellent analytical and communication skills in working with users to gather requirements and for creating self service dashboards based on Cognos reports tool.

·         Will need to be able to create/modify associated parameter screens, modify existing reports and create new reports.

·         Knowledge of the Daptiv PPM tool a plus.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel.

·         Must be highly skilled and experienced with all graphical elements of the reporting tool as well as layered reporting with drill down capabilities.

·         Must be able to learn the environment, design, develop and test quickly.

·         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or General Management.

Daily Responsibilities:

·      Learn Daptiv tool and SHC ePMO processes.

·      Gather reporting requirements.

·      Develop, analyze and evaluate report requirements.

·      Develop new reports and dashboards.

·      Modify existing reports and dashboards.

·      Suggest alternate forms of presentation / design

·      QA reports with clients.

·      Other duties as required.
