URGENT NEED - System Administrator in Brisbane, CA (Only Locals)

We have an immediate position for System Administrator for one of our client. This is a unique skill combination the client is requesting. Please forward me your profiles to praveen@methodex.com.

This is for one of our client opening for System Administrator in Brisbane, CA. This is a 6 months Contract position. The hourly rate is DOE.

Job Description:
· 5+ years of Unix(Solaris)/Linux systems experience in a large, 24x7 environment
· Sun hardware, high end server experience
· Advanced Veritas Volume Manager (VxVM) and VERITAS Cluster Server (VCS)
· Experience with Networking(sub-netting, routing, etc.)
· SAN concepts(provisioning, use, etc.)
· Experience with BIND, Sendmail, LDAP, and Apache
· ECommerce active/active site build, design and failure point analysis experience.
· Ability to document project designs, process, and policy
· Shell scripting (Bourne, Perl, Awk, Sed, etc.) prowess.

Additional Requirements:
- Need to have VCS skills (this is where most of the candidates fails)
- Need to have basic knowledge of S10 zones
- Need to have very good trouble shooting skills (this is where most of the candidates fails)
- Most importantly should be self motivated and enthusiastic and go getter and quick learner. don't expect them to know everything but at least have the aptitude to find out the fix and not just give up easily.
