Principal responsibilities

·         Gather and analyze Payroll business requirements. Document, recommend solution and develop functional specs

·         Perform Canada payroll system configuration

·         Assist team members on Canada payroll configuration

·         Documentation of payroll configurations

 

Qualifications

·         Vast hands on experience (at least 5 years) over complete end to end Canadian Payroll/Time  configuration,  implementation and support 

·         Vast experience on Canada Payroll result conversion  (mid year implementation)

·         Vast experience on Canadian Year End implementation  (CRA and MRQ)

·         Strong knowledge on Canadian legal reporting,  taxation, vacation payout/excess, garnishments and offcycle processing

·         Experience on Canadian Retiree payroll and taxation

·         Experience on FI integration and 3rd party payments

·         Excellent documentation skills
