Overview/Job Summary:

Provide development and customer support for all DECE Coordinator applications supported by the software development team

Responsibilities/Key Tasks:

- Contribute significantly to the development and support of the DECE Coordinator software platform

- Gain hands-on experience in support of mission critical systems

- Analysis and design of requirements for new applications

- Unit and system testing as required

- Provide application training for peers and/or customer service representatives, as required.

- Participate in peer-to-peer code reviews

Qualifications/Education Requirement:

BS in Computer Science or related field. MS a plus

- 8-10 years of professional experience in software development, with strong exposure to object-oriented design and methodology in Java on UNIX/LINUX/WINDOWS platforms.

- Extensive programming experience with various network protocols, such as TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, HTTP/HTTPS, SOAP, RESTful WS, etc.

- Extensive hands-on experience with database programming in Java with ORACLE/Sybase.

- Skills with SVN/Mercurial, JBOSS, ANT, PYTHON, various UNIX shells, XML/XSD.

- security protocols (SAML, OAuth, SSL, DRM, etc.) experience a plus.
