JoB Details

 

           Design and develop Web Forms and Windows Forms based .NET solutions for business applications based on .NET 2.0/3.0/3.5 using Visual Studio 2005/2008

           Have hands-on experience in design patterns and Microsoft Application Blocks, Software Factories

           Have development experience in WCF, WF

           Sound knowledge in designing and implementing Web Services

           Experience with Spring .NET framework or similar

           Experience with ORM tools like NHibernate

           Have an understanding of Service-oriented Architecture (SOA) principles and best practices in solution architecture and design

           Develop architecture document and design artifacts using Object-oriented Analysis and Design techniques and UML notations and tools

           Responsible for discussing detail design tasks and activities with developers and ensuring their implementation.

           Adhere to the version control system, build and release processes etc as prescribed for the project.

           Conduct design and code walk-through for review and incorporate feedback into design and code artifacts.

           Perform unit and integration tests and resolve any resulting issues/bugs

           Execute performance and load tests on applications and identify problems

           Mentor junior developers and designers on .NET and other Microsoft Server Technologies.

           Work with the Project Managers to identify potential risks in delivery and propose options to mitigate/minimize technical risks and issues

           Document interfaces and other design deliverables based on the project delivery methodology (RUP, Agile etc.) Work Experience:

           10+ years of experience in IT industry

           Extensive experience in building Web/Windows Forms solutions using the .NET Framework (preferably with .NET Framework 3.0/3.5)

           Extensive experience in object-oriented software implementation (5 – 10 years)

          Experienced in developing design artifacts based on UML notations and using standard tools

           Experienced in delivering client facing technical deliverables

           Capable of documenting design artifacts

 

Communication Skills:

           Excellent communicator in English with diverse and geographically distributed teams

           Ability to communicate proactively to management any potential issues that may hinder the ability to meet project deadlines

           Ability to explain complex technical issues/concepts to non-technical people

 

Certification:

           Microsoft certification such as MCAD, MCSD with .NET is highly desirable
