Job : Visual Basic Developer with VB6 and VB.net

 

Duration : 6 months minimum

 

Location : Arkansas

 

 

Job Description : The eCommerce Integrations and Store Systems Senior Programmer Analyst is responsible for leading technology projects to implement multi-channel eCommerce.  This position will provide technical leadership to design and develop store applications that integrate with eCommerce websites.

 

Responsibilities include

·         Create detailed technical designs

·         Perform code reviews

·         Provide technical guidance to junior programmers / additional consultants

·         Perform coding on complex code modules

·         Review and Approve system changes executing the ISD change control process

·         Define tasks required to implement complex projects

·         Create and review project plans

·         Lead major projects and provide technical leadership for projects from start to finish

·         Interface directly with customers for requirements, design, project status reporting

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION

·         Experience developing software solutions

·         Proficiency in Visual Basic, VB6 & VB.Net

·         Experience developing Web Services

·         Experience developing mobile / handheld applications

·         Experience implementing Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

·         Ability to analyze complex business problems and design software solutions

·         Expert communication skills

·         Ability to lead through influence

 

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

·         Experience with J2EE / Java

·         Ability to adapt quickly to changing technology and direction

·         Prior experience developing solutions for an online retail website or other public website

 

EDUCATION REQUIRMENTS

·         Bachelors Degree in MIS, CIS, Computer Science or Equiv.
