Title: QA Analyst with Loadrunner
Bill Rate: $38 per hour
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Duration: 6 Months
The candidate would be expected to work the following 40 hour week schedule:
- Saturday through Wednesday (Thursday, Friday off)
- 9 am through 6 pm - Saturday & Sunday
- 2 pm through 11 pm – Monday through Wednesday
ROLE: Test Scripting & Execution Analyst
This person will work closely with test definition and analysis consultant(s) to convert test script specifications into Load Runner Scripts. He/She will maintain Load Runner Scripts across application versions, assist input data (load) creation, set up Load Runner execution scenarios for all Stress test simulations, set up Load Runner monitoring tools, collate test execution monitoring data. This person will be capable of analyzing the results of the run, provide recommendations, and status reporting. The candidates should have at least four years of experience in load runner and should have experience stress testing a portal application on a large portal project.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate must be experienced in the following areas:
- 4 yrs experience in creation ad execution of Load Runner scripts.
- Experience with maintaining Load Runner Scripts across application versions, input data (load) creation, setting up Load Runner execution scenarios, setting up Load Runner monitoring tools, and collating test execution monitoring data.
- Familiarity with Test Director.
- Experience with analyzing the results of the run, providing recommendations, and status reporting
- Strong SQL skills
- Basic Unix skills will be a plus
- Experience with building test harnesses will be a plus
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Data Warehouse (reporting + ETL jobs) stress test experience will be a plus
Education and/or Relevant Experience:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent; with four years of load runner work experience
- Experience with stress testing a J2EE web application running on Web Logic server (Sun One web server and Oracle database) will be a plus
- Relevant experience with Oracle Relational Databases will be a plus
