ROLE: 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position will work closely with various functional and technical teams to develop PL/SQL scripts to achieve the project's requirements. An ideal candidate needs to have relevant PL/SQL scripting experience and the ability to learn business functionality in a short period of time.

 

The role is in an Oracle data warehouse system which include Oracle PL/SQL programming and store procedures and will include performance tuning of large data load scripts and query optimization.

 

Job Requirements:

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualities:

•         Flexible attitude and schedule

•         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

•         Superb analytical skills

•         Ability to synthesize information from various sources to effectively and efficiently solve problems

•         Ability to work closely with multiple internal cross-functional teams

 

The ideal candidate must be experienced in the following areas:

•         PL/SQL and database development in 10g/11g

•         Thorough understanding of indices and statistics for multi-terabyte databases

•         Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL programming, including advanced techniques in Oracle 10g/11g and analytical functions

•         High volume databases with partitioned data, performance and tuning experience

•         Database performance tuning/Oracle development skills such as but not limited to performance assessment, SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions and transaction analysis.
