Job Title: Business Objects Enterprise Developer

Location: Portland, OR

Duration: 3+ months (More possible for extension)

Rate: Need competitive on C2C

Job Description:

Must Have Skills:
• Expert experience in Business Object XIr3, Universe development, report analytic development, dash boarding, BO Configuration and Admin functions, expert SQL authoring and tuning skills
• Expert data analysis skills, Enterprise Data Warehouse experience/design a plus
• Experience supporting BI in data warehouse environment with BI Industry standard practices
• Consult with functional/business partners in defining, developing and documenting policies and business rules for data delivery.
• Define and document data delivery standards, rules, and life cycle management taking into account business requirements and legal/privacy compliance and regulations
• Build, maintain and enhance policies, standards and processes (as required) with regards to all aspects of data delivery architecture.
• Provide recommendations to strengthen data warehouse, data governance policies and processes - engaging with relevant external and internal parties as required.
• Coordinate with functional/IT data owners, stakeholders and subject matter experts, as needed, ensuring functional buy-in, engagement and appropriate sign-off on required project and operational deliverables.
• Provide thought leadership and engagement on initiatives that involve upstream or downstream data flows and processes.
• Implement/refine controls, metrics and defect management processes - engaging multiple data owners/subscribers to remedy/reduce data issues and improve data quality.
• Support initiatives (system and process implementations/enhancements) requiring data load input.
• Work with management to mature the overall data delivery strategy, policy and standards.

Desired Skills:
• Working knowledge and understanding of financial data, business principles, processes and technology.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; interacting with all levels of associates and management within the organization.
• Organizational skills - ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute on assigned deliverables. Self-starter/motivator, goal oriented
• Experience in data management realm (data modeling, data quality, data mapping, data migration/ integration).
