Python, ETL, EDI, RDBMS, SQL , Oracle, Fixed Income derivatives (Interest Rate Swaps and FX Derivatives ideally)
Description:
Immediate need for a Python Developer. This is an 8+ month contract opportunity. Please read below for a detailed description.
Key Responsibilities, Requirements and Technology Experience:
* Experience with implementation of trading systems * Front Arena highly desired.
* Strong experience with off-the-shelf vendor systems and software configuration
* Strong experience with scripting (Python), especially with scripting against vendor APIs and third-party libraries
* Strong experience with system interface development, enterprise integration, ETL, and EDI
* Strong RDBMS and SQL skills (Oracle)
* Good understanding of Fixed Income derivatives (Interest Rate Swaps and FX Derivatives ideally) and trade order management workflows
* Strong experience with messaging architectures and tools
* Experience with defining technical specifications and proficiency with developing, writing and executing technical test scenarios and plans
* Ability to develop technical training documentation and deliver basic application training to other developers
* Ability to support data conversion, quality analysis and investigation.
