CRM 2007/7.0 experience preferred
SAP Netweaver Certified Consultant.


Scope

Environment consists of SAP modules including R/3, BW, APO/SCM, PI/XI, EP, E-selling and Solution Manager. Oracle is the primary database management system. SAP systems are installed in both Unix (AIX) and Windows environment. The SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for maintaining a secure and reliable SAP application environment and has a wide variety of responsibilities.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 6 years of extensive SAP Basis Administration experience in a multi-system landscape and large database
· Netweaver Certified
· Netweaver, BW/BI, EP, APO/SCM, Internet Sales, and/or ECC experience
· Strong SAP troubleshooting and performance tuning skills
· Ability to provide 24X7 pager and onsite support off-shift (when required)
· Oracle experience a plus


Responsibilities:

· Strong CRM 2007/7.0 experience required
· BASIS Support - Install, configure, and administrate SAP servers
· Install and maintain SAP Plug-ins and SAP Solution add-on components.
· Execute SAP homogeneous system copies and system restores.
· Configure, manage, and monitor TMS (Transport Management System).
· Schedule and transport CTS requests to test and production systems
· Client maintenance and administration as required.
· System monitoring and performance tuning using CCMS and other tools.
· Define and maintain operation modes and system profiles.
· Background job configuration, monitoring, and maintenance.
· Perform SAP R/3 maintenance (support packages, kernel and other upgrades).
· Configure SAP printers and maintain spool system.
· RFC/ALE configuration/administration/maintenance.
· Logon load balancing configuration.
· Troubleshoot/debug system errors and ABAP short dumps.
· Administrate/troubleshoot SAP R/3 logs, file usage, jobs, locks, and updates.
· Provide SAP R/3 technical support to End Users, Development Personnel, etc.
· Support resolution of production issues.
· Review Solution Manager reports for performance and optimization feedback.
· Document all procedures, processes, installation prerequisites, etc.
· Perform unscheduled backups of database/archive logs as required.
· Assist in capacity planning and performance tuning of SAP applications.
