RESPONSIBILITIES :

 

EES DATA DE-IDENTIFICATION AND ENVIRONMENT BUILD ENGINEER SUMMARY

The Enterprise Environment Services (EES) group provides expertise in technical planning, building and supporting of application environments (including in-house and vendor developed applications), evaluating configurations and application architecture while assessing impact on Client platform environments;

Supporting many mainframe and client-server systems, and Web-enabled technologies utilizing MVS and UNIX-based operating systems.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data De-Identification

1.Support data de-identification application specific activities

i. Perform detailed analysis of application data model and interfaces

ii. design and implement data de-identification programs and

iii. define sustainable processes

• Provide input and take accountability of data de-identification framework deliverables ( set of consistent process and procedures across the enterprise)

• Close collaboration with various internal KPIT internal groups and even vendor to gather requirements about applications and then design and implement data de-identification techniques

• Support environment builds & maintenance. Prepares and maintains environment related build documentation.

• Provide maintenance and technical support activities associated to the operations of environment being used for data de-identification activities. Work with internal IT organizations and/or vendor to find resolution to system failures, and provide a root cause analysis.

• Strong knowledge of code migration services and the ability to implement code packaging and deployment procedures is required.

• Provide automated alternatives to repetitive manual processes by creating scripts for installs, job monitoring, code drops, and backup or replication jobs etc.

• Contribute to project planning and scheduling, preparation of work effort estimates, and coordinate the execution of project build and data de-identification activities across multiple teams and individuals. Align project plans with the EES Environment Strategy and Data De-identification Guidelines.

• Able to perform tasks independent of close supervision and guidance.

• Depending on project, some off-hours and weekend work may be required.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• 5-10 years' application analysis, scripting, designing and programming scripts

• Exposure to data De-identification techniques

• Strong data model analysis experience

• Experience with different platforms – windows, Unix, MF

• Good understanding of Oracle and MS SQL RDBMS technologies.

• Working knowledge of software applications including but not limited to MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, & MS Visio.

• Flexible and quick to learn new technologies without the benefit of formal classroom training 8.Excellent analytical skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients. Ability to work through alternative solutions and ideas with multiple departments and then present findings/ideas.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with data de-identification tools preferably Compuware Data Solutions

• Experience with UNIX application installation, configuration and support, or experience with UNIX shell scripting.

• Strong knowledge of code migration services and the ability to implement code packaging and deployment procedures is required.
