SUMMARY The Production Support Analyst will be responsible for supporting the company's P&C insurance applications.  Primary responsibilities will be logging, tracking and resolving application issues.  Includes troubleshoot application and computer problems to determine source, and advising on appropriate action.  This position will have direct interaction to all business users of the application by provide help and instruction.

Skills Required Ø  Demonstrate P&C Insurance knowledge Ø  Excellent interpersonal and communications skills Ø  Ability to conceptualize an application problem over the phone Ø  Strong technical skills using a computer Ø  Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products Ø  Excellent analytical skills Ø  Ability to interact with business and technical team members Ø  Experience with underwriting, claims and/or insurance financial systems as either a user or in a support role

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Ø  Log and track all production support issues received via phone call or email

Ø  Provide first level troubleshooting for production issues and escalate to the appropriate team member

Ø  Answer staff questions in person and via phone

Ø  Determine source of problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.)

Ø  Advise business users on appropriate action

Ø  Serve as liaison between business users and the technology department to resolve issues

Ø  Work one-on-one with  business users on application projects

Ø  Document resolutions for future reference

Ø  Provide correct routing and escalation when situations require

Ø  Contribute to positive and cohesive team

Ø  Simulate the business users in reviewing releases to the applications

Ø  Other duties as assigned.
