Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: 6+ months

Rate: 42$/HR Max...

Requirements:

Ø  Design, development, and implementation phases of numerous client/server applications using Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and Java

Ø  Conversant with Web/Application Servers like Apache2.2, Phusion Passenger for Ruby on Rails Framework deployment using Capistrano

Ø  Experience working on scalable environment in Agile/SCRUM and RAD methodologies

Ø  Experience working in a Linux (Fedora Core 2.5) environment

Ø  Experience upgrading outdated Ruby code to latest version

Ø  Experience integrating 3rd party software components with Ruby on Rails applications

 

Task:

Phase I: Modify and test existing software for the Ninja systems (Customer product built with Ruby on Rails and Java) to replace NetStar logos, text, etc. with GreenTec Systems logos, text, etc.  Make necessary changes to code to collect, display and monitor metrics.

Phase II: Recommend potential enhancements, in writing, for integration of 3rd party vendor software or replacement of Ninja code (Customer product built with Ruby on Rails and Java) with 3rd party software components
