Job Title : App Development Sr Specialist

Duties:
Design and build enhancements and efficiency changes based on business
requirements to an in-house .NET web-based reporting tool.
Reporting tool gathers data from HP Quality Center SQL server database.
Help prepare for upgrade from HP QC v9.2 to QC v10. Build documentation
(requirements translation, design) and training material for upgrade and
changes.
Assist with ongoing trend analysis and identify improvement opportunities
for QC.
Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering
computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of
desired results. Designs, codes, tests, debugs, and documents those
programs.
Highly skilled. Competent to work at the highest technical level of all
phases of applications programming activities.

This position may perform systems analysis functions.

Skills: 4-5 years practical and demonstrated experience with Visual Studio
.Net (C#), and SQL Server (2000/2005) environments
Demonstrated knowledge of systems development life cycle Strong systems
analysis and design experience required
Ability to work in a team based environment as well as with third party
consultants and vendors required.
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and present
analysis and findings in business context.
Organizational and project management skills desired with ability to
prioritize work and multitask Demonstrated ability to communicate technical
concepts , strategies and plans in terminology understood by business and IT
professionals
Excellent interpersonal skills - with an emphasis on ability to communicate
both verbally and in writing Preferred, not required, working knowledge of
Quality Center 9.2 or greater Ability to write design documents for Quality
Center Report changes

Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline,
typically six or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT with a
minimum of four years experience application program development, or the
equivalent in education and work experience.
