Requirements:
PeopleSoft application experience in HR, Payroll, Time & Labor and Benefits Administration modules and Applications security.
Technical experience – PeopleSoft Application Engine, PeopleTools, SQL, SQR, Cobol and Control-M, Unix and Oracle.
Experience in systems analysis and/or programming required. Project management or leadership experience a plus.
Business knowledge required of functionality to provide the best design and technical solutions.
PeopleSoft reporting experience/reporting experience with other tools – query, Crystal reporting, other reporting tools such as XML Publisher.
Minimum 7 years relative experience.
Excellent communication and partnering skills.

Analyzes, designs, and prepares or selects new systems/technologies in order to meet internal and external user requirements. Provides assistance and work direction to other team members to ensure a well-trained and qualified staff.

Position Responsibilities:
Provides application support and enhancements to existing applications. Defines system requirements, priorities, and viable alternatives. Coordinates the efforts of staff to locate, assess, install, test, and maintain computer software systems. Coordinates conversions and upgrades to vendor systems.
Supports existing systems and large projects.
Provides technical direction and supervision to analyst staff in the development and implementation of systems or in problem solving.
Performs analysis and makes recommendations in areas that require a high level of technical competency.
May design data bases and data dictionary criteria if no DBA role exists.
Performs a variety of complex programming tasks, such as designing, documenting, and coding program logic.
Provides estimates of work effort for client projects.
Functions as a technical resource for the other team members.
Provides technical training, guidance, and resource support for Departmental staff.
Provide production support including:
Monitor batch processing.
Monitors ticket queue to work on new tickets. Provides ticket updates based on progress of work.
Coordinates with HRIS Production Support team for ticket resolution.
Provides communication to HRIS and other interested parties for emergency tickets.
Provide on-call support (within a rotation) for production.
Provide support for applications development:
Works with DBA team for production moves.
Works to reduce emergency changes outside of normal change window.
Works on new methods for reducing manual IT and HRIS work.
Work with other areas of IT to fulfill file transfer and scheduling requests.
May lead and coordinate project teams consisting of management, users, IT staff, and vendors, under limited supervision.
Provides financial input to IT Management on department or project budgets, capital expenditures or other cost estimates as requested.
Makes short term plans for the team to effectively utilize resources.
Manages customer satisfaction process taking accountability for addressing concerns.
Performs as a project lead and directs systems analysts. Provides leadership and coordination on projects assigned to systems analysts.
