SQL ADMINISTRATOR – NYC

 

SQL Server DBA with DW and SSIS (6 months NYC)

45/hr on Corp to Corp

 

WE ARE LOOKING FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY WITH

EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS WHO CAN START THE CONTRACT ASAP!

 

Data Warehouse ETL Developer with strong SQL and SSIS is needed in NYC for a

6 month contract.

 

A SQL Server DBA with DW and SSIS would be ideal.

 

Must have strong SQL development skills

4-5 yrs SSIS development

Requires minimum 8 years data warehouse development. Demonstrated experience

with start schema / dimensional model warehouse, and excellent written and

verbal communication skills

 

* At least 8 years experience working in a similar capacity with proven data warehouse design and development experience

* SQL Server 2005 and 2008 programming (database administration is a plus).

* Supporting both custom built and third party applications

* Must have strong experience developing SQL Server Integration Services - SSIS

* Must have strong experience designing Star Schemas

* Dimensional modeling.

* Proven capabilities providing database base programming support and troubleshooting to multiple IT projects

* Expert level SQL programming, T-SQL, store procedure capabilities

* Database administration experience including import, export, data transformation, backup and restore recommended

* Must be detail-oriented, extremely organized and have good communication skills

* Forward thinking approach in building denormalized datawarehouse
