Title: IT Project Manager

Manage multiple, sometimes complex, application development and enhancement projects. Plan and coordinate with customers, other development teams and with business areas and IS support areas. Coordinate system changes across multiple platforms, develop and execute comprehensive project plans, and negotiate project scope, deliverables, and schedule. Ensure that projects follow technical standards, documentation and implementation procedures. Provide direction to project technical staff for projects and production support. Manage teams of assigned technical and business analysts, developers and testers.
Level: Mid-level (3-7 yrs)
Skills:
* Minimum of three years managing technology staff and budget. Five years preferred
* Experience in application development using technologies like WebLogic, J2EE, JMS, JSP, Unix, DB2, WebMethods & other distributed technologies.
* Proven ability to provide project management expertise and deliver technology projects using a generally accepted system life-cycle methodology.
* Experience defining key success factors and metrics
* Knowledge of industry standards and controls.
* Demonstrated experience creating work environment that encourages innovation and improvement; show willingness to try different approaches and explore alternative solutions.
* Foster a work environment that supports the value and importance of compliance in the workplace and provide the opportunities for others to escalate issues
* Proven ability to work with a highly productive team.
* Ability to understand key budget assumptions and drivers and manage accordingly.
* Experience managing business relationships with Business partners and delivering to expectations.
* Experience developing project proposals, goals, time lines, funding and staffing requirements for projects.
* Excellent interpersonal, team management, facilitation and communications skills. Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
* Hands-on Microsoft Project Server experience and ability to create, configure, csustomize, maintain, project plans for a single complex or multiple smaller projects.
* Familiarity with the secondary mortgage market and/or mortgage securities is a plus.
