Job Description
DB2 DBA. The DB2 will provide technical support for the day-to-day DB2 activities of the organization.
Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the in all of the basic database management skills of data administration, web connectivity, physical structure, SQL and SQL applications, and overall architecture and database analysis. Participate in on-site DBA implementation activities as needed. Design and maintain logical data models; develop and implement physical models (data type, indexing, table design, etc.)
The candidate will also configure and manage system and database user IDs and group permissions; configure and manage database backups; efficient at SQL and Batch scripting;
