HOT Requirement - PHP LAMP Developer - West Palm Beach, FL - 4 months contract

 

Job Title        :   PHP LAMP Developer
Location       :    West Palm Beach, FL
Duration       :    4 months contract

 

It is a Lamp Engineer and they need to be strog with LAMP.
 
Seeking a senior LAMP software engineering position, specializing in PHP5, and WordPress.
Strong understanding and use of Object Oriented development and Agile/Scrum SDLC, OO design patterns (factory, singleton, etc.), in a high-traffic customer-facing website development environment.
Very deep understanding of WordPress is a must.

 

The following are the minimum requirements for the senior LAMP software engineer:
7+ consecutive years experience developing with PHP 5 (OOD/OOP)
Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Understanding proper structure and use of object oriented programming to keep code modular, in turn keeping abstraction and encapsulation in the forefront of the development scope.
Experience creating REST based architectures.
5+ consecutive years experience developing with MySQL.
Understanding of database normalization and proper utilization.
Experience with WordPress and knowledge of WordPress plug-ins and architecture.
Experience with XHTML, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript. Standard web transformation and development tools.
Strong knowledge in Linux and Apache installation and management.
Strong experience with managing code bases from a GIT repository, SVN, or CVS.
