Major Duties
Ø Design and Develop enterprise applications using Agile methodology
Ø Develop detailed designs using Object-Oriented Methodology
o RSA experience is a plus
Ø Develop Java Components
Ø Create database objects to support components
Ø Write Unit Test Cases
Ø Utilize commercial off-the-shelf and open source technologies
Ø Support testing efforts
Ø Support documentation efforts
Ø Understand and consume application requirements and use cases
Ø Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Ø Education
o Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
Ø Experience
Education
o Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
Ø Experience
o 4+ yrs experience in Java Development
o 2+ yrs experience with Oracle or SQL Server development
o 2+ year experience with web services, service based development, XML/XSD
o Experience with developing and deploying J2EE components within Oracle Weblogic Server
o Experience with Spring and Hibernate
o Experience with development tools such as Eclipse and Maven
o Design and Architecture using object-oriented methodologies
o Exposure to Agile (TDD) methodology a plus
o Experience in a Cable, Telecom, or a Media company a plus
o Experience with Voice, Data, and Video technology a plus
o Should have excellent communication and problem solving skills
o Must be a team player
