I am looking at Data Analyst not Business Analyst. Candidate should
be strong in data modeling, source system analysis, informatica
experience and any reporting tool experience preferable Cognos.
Requirement Details:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent work
experience
• 5+ years experience working in an IT environment in an analytical
role
• 5+ years experience and solid knowledge of ANSI SQL coding (Oracle
preferred) with relational databases
• Demonstrated experience efficiently navigating relational
databases.
• 3+ years experience in data analysis and presentation of findings to
all levels within an organization
• 3+ years experience in utilizing data query tools (e.g. TOAD) for
data analysis, problem resolution and data mining
• Exposure to teams that utilize ETL tools (Informatica preferred) and
OLAP/reporting tools (Cognos preferred)
• Experience working with a variety of information systems and data
files, including large and complex files for analysis
• Experience and a demonstrated successful history of full-cycle
business analysis (conceptualization to analysis to presentation)
leading to process improvement
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, regularly and
effectively with team members
• Exceptional computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel,
PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook required
