SM Architecture is in need of 2 highly experienced Senior J2EE Developers to assist with the design, development and support of multiple custom Dashboarding applications which will be utilized to communicate critical Availability and Performance related multiple custom Dashboarding applications which will be utilized to communicate critical Availability and Performance related information to key individuals within the organization.
The current dashboards are built with JavaScript and it is expected that JavaScript will be utilized to build additional dashboards. This person will also participate in the research and evaluation of other alternatives which can provide enhanced flexibility and user access.
This person will work with minimal direction and will need to be able to define and interpret user requirements and use those requirements to design, develop, and enhance technical solutions to meet those requirements.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Architecture level experience and knowledge of J2EE applications
- Advanced JavaScript programming experience
- Strong J2EE Presentation Layer experience
- Strong J2EE Web-Tier experience (HTTP Requests)
- Experience w/ WebSphere, XML/XSLT, Shell Scripting, Perl Scripting
- Highly technically savvy/high technical aptitude
- Leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), able to effectively communicate with individuals from all levels (technical and nontechnical) of an organization
- Excellent collaboration and facilitation skills, ability to teach others
- Experience working with little direction or supervision, able to identify and utilize necessary resources to accomplish goal
