Position Open For Senior Applications Architect in Boston, MA

Senior Applications Architect

Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 3 months

 

IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!

 

 

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (5 years mandatory minimum experience):

• Understanding of Segregation of Duties and how they apply to Security for both developers and users.
• Experience with P/St HRMS application security in version 8.9 or 9.0.
• In-depth understanding of P/S Application security  (e.g. roles and permission lists, row level department access, operator defaults, etc) and P/S Internet Architecture (i.e. PIA).
• Excellent understanding of Infrastructure security in an IBM P570 environment.
• Excellent understanding of database security for Oracle 11i environment.
• Understanding of portal concepts, specifically as they relate to P/S Enterprise Portal security and rollout of self-service functionality over the web to 90,000+ employees.
• Strong facilitation, communication, team building, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Ability to interact with all management levels of State government.
• Experience with large organizations (50,000+ employee populations).
• Proven verbal and written communication skills. 
• Experience leading internal focus groups for documenting requirements.
• Analytical thinker and ability to evaluate the application security current state and recommend changes that leverage P/S features and can be supported in a cost effective manner for 90,000 employees.

 QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• One of more of the following certifications
• CISSP(Certified Information Systems Security Professional) desired
• CISA(Certified Information System Auditor) desired
• SANS GIAC(Global Information Assurance Certification) desired   
• ISO 27000-series information security standards.  Candidate should be able to provide some documentation as to their level of knowledge, experience and proficiency.
