Duration: 8 months

IT Project Manager for Oracle E-Business Release 11.5.10 to 12.1.3 upgrade project.  Current E-Business version’s (11.5.10.2 on 11 G Database) usage is comprised of core financials (GL, FA, PO, AP, iExp), OM, AR, SC, IB, Adv Pricing and is tightly integrated with key internal and external system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Hands-on, detailed project management.  Manage the full lifecycle of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12 upgrade,.
• Manage and control scope.  Deliver high quality results in line with schedule, cost and scope expectations while achieving great customer satisfaction with business partners, stakeholders and project team members.
• Develop and manage project communication plans between Business and IT organizations, and within IT’s vertical teams - application development , integration & architecture, infrastructure.
• Drive and manage to closure all issues related to project, resolving conflict, negotiating compromise, and escalating to IT management where appropriate and in a timely fashion.
• Handle Change management; drive end user training and user adoption.
• Develop test plans and drive user testing cycles.
• Identify, monitor, mitigate and communicate potential risks that might affect project quality and expectations.
• Provide project resource, role & responsibility management with Business and IT teams to successfully deliver projects and a high level of team satisfaction.
• Ensure that project is managed in accordance with project methodology standards as well as assuring all SOX standards are met and the project successfully passes SOX reviews and audits as appropriate.
• Motivate team members and business partners to participate within a demanding and dynamic business environment.

Qualifications Requirements 

• 4-6 years experience and demonstrated success in managing the delivery of large scale, complex Oracle eBusiness Suite projects.
• Hands on experience of managing an R12 upgrade required.
• Comprehensive knowledge and hands on experience of working with Oracle E-busines Suite especially in the core Financials application modules, including GL, PO, AP, FA, iExpenses, AR.
• At least 5+ years of industry and/or consulting experience in a functional capacity
• Oracle eBusiness Suite module experience; GL, AP, FA, AR, understanding of internal controls and financial reporting in public companies.
• Demonstrated success in project leadership and delivery with high customer and project team satisfaction
• Demonstrated experience in developing and managing project budgeting and vendor engagements.
• Ability to succeed in a highly collaborative team environment with multiple in-flight initiatives and stakeholders
• Strong leadership and people skills; ability to effectively communicate and collaborate at all levels of the organization
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a complex, fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of a formal project management methodology. Proven knowledge of SDLC, implementation of consulting/technical support services and Rapid Application Development.
• Management of off-shore development resources and the building of virtual project teams.
• BS/BA essential.  Degree in Information Systems technology, Computer Science, Finance or related program preferred.
