Hi All,

 

Client is looking  hire 3 contractor senior-level Java developers in MN to work on applications for the Multiple Application Framework (MAF).  This position would start immediately and go through the end of the year with a possibility of extension into 2012.

 

Responsibilities:

•         This software engineer will be located in Eagan MN and be a member of a distributed team developing software for the Global Core Legal division of Professional Technology

•         The position will work with other MAF developers in global Service Centers to design solutions and  develop features on multiple platforms

•         Develop web applications used for legal research around the world based on predefined requirements

•         Development responsibilities concentrate on Java development and user interface technologies including AJAX , CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, Velocity, XML and XSLT

•         Knowledge of web architectures including Service Oriented Architectures, load balancing, session/state management, queuing, caching, performance analysis, and data access desirable

•         Participate in global design review meetings

•         Participate in project meetings

 

Qualifications:

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

•             >5 years Web development experience

•             >5 years Java development experience

•             Experience with AJAX , CSS, HTML, JavaScript, JSON, Velocity, XML and XSLT

•             Some SQL database experience

•             Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•             Experience with Agile development methodologies

•             Track record of superior performance

•             Strong & collaborative team player

•             Goal and task focused with a strong desire to exceed objectives and initiative on resolving issues and completing deliverables
