We have an urgent opening for SQL Server DBA

 

Location – Oklahoma

 

Duration – 6 Months+

 

 

Job Description/Skills Required:

 

Ø  Min of 8+ years of SQL Server experience working as database administrator in an enterprise environment with multiple database servers and a large client user base

Ø  Min of 3+ years of experience in creating custom reports, writing queries and stored procedures in a SQL Server 2005/2008 environment

Ø  Min of 2+ years of experience with

Ø  logical/physical data base design work that yielded large database systems, data warehouse and data integration solutions

Ø  testing and installing new versions,

Ø  performing back-up recovery, troubleshooting, performance tuning, installations and patching of the database systems(MS SQL Server, Oracle, Sybase etc)

Ø  SQL security user and program administration and disaster recovery

Ø  MS Reporting Services

Ø  Expertize with ETL products such as DTS, and SSIS and Microsoft Analysis Services

Ø  Knowledgeable with leading DB software products and the purchase and implementation of those technologies such as DMBS/s, servers, extract and conditioning tools, metadata management, security tools, archival and recovery tools and data access methods

Ø  Ability to configure windows system security, file/dbase permissions and user profile management

Ø  Develop and enforce testing procedures for back-up, recovery, replication, synchronization Perform capacity planning Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ø  Proven record of providing excellent customer service.

Ø  4-year degree in a related discipline such as Computer Science, Architecture or Engineering.

Ø  Strong Knowledge of HW/SW requirements for DB deployment. TS/SCI active security clearance Very Strong VB.Net, SSRS and Presentation Foundation experience
