Skill set requirements
Operating Systems

3.       HPUX
4.       Exposure to Nonstop or Oracle Enterprise Linux is plus

OS skills required
Installation  Local and BFS  Boot from storage
Install from OS media, Jumpstart server
Install packages, updates
Install drivers from source
Configure multipath drivers  Device Mapper, Secure path
Install failover drivers  Qlogic, emulex
iSCSI Configuration
Multipathing in Solaris
SCATE Concepts and purpose of SCATE
Integrity server architecture, Overview
HPUX utilities  sautil, saconfig etc
Dual domain, multipathing, Multi-initiator configuration and ignite ux
Cluster Concepts and its purpose
Knowledge on block devices, partitioning and FS creation
Debug problems related to disk or storage
knowledge on Administering, maintaining Solaris, Linux machines
Common Problems and Solutions for the same in SCATE and Cluster Tests

Storage
Expertise in Storage domain
Hands on exposure in setting up, configuring and debugging storage products
Ability to setup and configure a complex SAN from Scratch
Multipath, Clustering, High Availability
Storage Protocols  SCSI, FC, iSCSI, SAS, FCoE
FC Switch Configuration
Advanced Switch, Fabric concepts
Advanced hands on experience on Storage
Exposure to HP Storage Products  JBOD, XP, EVA, MSA, SVSP, Left-hand, 3PAR etc
Any Industry standard certification  SNIA, CCNA etc
Excellent analytical, debugging and root cause analysis skills
