Position:Oracle Developer
Location:Richfield, OH
Duration:6-12 Months
Description:
· Looking for an experienced Oracle developer with very strong and current SQL coding skills.
· Emphasis will be analysis, design and technical specification writing. Strong analytical and design skills mandatory.
· Strong skills in writing technical specifications are required.
· Client support a Global application and we are in the early stages of a project to rewrite the system.
· Our requirements are constantly changing and growing due to our expansion internationally.
· We are looking for skilled individuals to help us meet these growing demands and move forward with our products worldwide.
Duties & Responsibilities:
· Performs moderately complex development tasks following SBS system development life cycle.
· Duties will include analysis, design, technical specification writing, Oracle SQL coding, testing, and tuning.
· Works with Lead Developers, Data Analysis, DBA's, and end users in the specification, design, and construction, testing and implementation of publishing services.
· Researches and understands the business and technical requirements for a publishing process/system, including target environment and performance criteria
· Suggests technical approaches to management on projects.
Qualifications:
· 4-5 years of experience in software design, development and maintenance.
· Proven technical knowledge in software development and testing methodologies.
· Primary emphasis will be Oracle SQL, tuning and testing. Require four or more years extensive experience in Oracle database and SQL including Stored Procedures, Functions, and Triggers.
· Background in Oracle query tuning is required.
· Must possess strong unit, integration and system testing skills.
· Ability to work independently from technical specifications is required.
· Excellent problem solving and consultative skills.
· Must be a team player with a positive attitude, enthusiasm, initiative, sense of urgency, and be self-motivated.
· Ability to work overtime and provide off-hours support as required.
