Role: JAVA/ J2EE developer

Location: Chicago, IL

Duration: 6 months

 

Responsibilities:

Translate user requirement into technical design

Develop requested changes

Implement automated unit tests using JUnit & Mockito

Provide project status updates and escalate issues & concerns

 

Required Skills and Abilities:

4+ years in Java design and development

Experience with Java SE 6, JQuery, Spring Core (Dependency Injection, AOP, JDBC), Spring MVC, JUnit, Mockito, EhCache, JSPs, Servlet, Apache, Tomcat, SOAP, Rest, JSON, DWR, XML, SQL, and Linux.

Experience with industry standard design patterns (Gang of Four [GOF], J2EE, Enterprise Integration Architecture).

Experience in Iterative Software Development and Agile processes.

Excellent communication skills.

 

Nice to Have:

FatWire Content Management System

Static analysis tool usage (FindBugs, EclEmma, CheckStyle)

Experience running Tomcat & Apache in a clustered production environment
