Candidates must have Vantage mainframe experience.

 

Mainframe Vantage-One, DSS or RPS – 6+ yrs.

Experience in Insurance and/or financial systems

Rational Products (RSM, RAD)

 

Requirements:

• Mainframe Knowledge in Vantage-One, DSS, or RPS
• VSAM, DB2, JCL, COBOL
• IBM File Manager

 

Desired:

• RUP
• Insurance downstream systems
• Mainframe (CICS, WebSphere MQ, CTG)

 

Responsibilities:

• Designs, codes, unit tests and documents programs and sub-systems.
• Designs systems, sub-systems or programs according to specs.
• Interfaces with clients to determine requirements, resolve problems & perform testing.
• Analyzes system and program requirements.

 

Insurance downstream systems. VSAM, DB2, JCL, COBOL

 

Senior Project Managers  

Cedar Rapids, Iowa

6+ Months Contract

65/hr

 

Project Management and Mainframe – 6+ yrs.

Experience in Insurance and/or financial systems

Rational Products (RSM, RAD)

 

Agile, Project Manager, Mainframe, COBOL, DB2, Vantage-One

 

Requirements:

• Mainframe experience in VSAM, DB2, JCL, COBOL, IBM File Manager.
• Lead projects through complex issues, ambiguity, and scope changes; driving a team to clarity and effective decision making.
• Effective communication to understand stakeholder needs, establish project objectives, and recommend approaches/solutions.

 

Desired:

• RUP
• Insurance downstream systems
• Mainframe (CICS, WebSphere MQ, CTG, DSS, or RPS)

 

Responsibilities:

• Assemble project teams, determine task assignments, identify resource requirements.
• Manage projects that require cross divisional team leadership of external vendors and key stakeholders.
• Leads project teams through complex issues, ambiguity, and scope changes, driving the team to clarity and effective decision making.
• Consistent abilities to drive decisions on mid to large projects.
