Position: 17794-Engineer - Voice Messaging and Services
Location: Bellevue, WA
Contract: 2 Months

Job Description:

* Perform engineering systems design in the development and support of
messaging services and solutions.
* Work with other team members on engineering tasks such as design,
integration, performance and capacity measurement, as well as analysis,
growth, and testing.
* Work with vendors to ensure product specifications are met, accuracy of
implementation and quality of operations.
* Work with Systems Integration and Validation teams to ensure the
completion of ''hands-on'' testing and verification of all features and
functions of T-Mobile Voice Messaging Systems and Services.
* Create and execute engineering system acceptance test cases.
* Troubleshoot the Transmission Control Protocol (TCP)/Internet Protocol
(IP) protocol suite, as well as Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP),
Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) and Short Message Peer to Peer
(SMPP) protocol.
* Script in SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting.

Minimum Required Skills / Competencies:

* Experience troubleshooting the TCP/IP protocol suite, as well as IMAP,
SMTP and SMPP protocols.
* Experience performing engineering systems design
* Experience in SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting.
* Experience designing and troubleshooting GSM messaging systems.
* Experience creating and executing engineering system acceptance test
cases.

Preferred skills:

* Experience in SQL and UNIX Shell Scripting.
* Experience designing and troubleshooting GSM messaging systems.
