Position Title - Senior Siebel Scripting/Developer (Hands-On)
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL
• 40 Hours work week (Max)
• Contract Terms: Contract (3-6 months)
Summary -
Responsible for design, development of new projects and enhancements in Siebel 8.1.2 Call Center environment leveraging Siebel Tools, Scripting, Workflows, Assignment Manager, Run Time Rules, Business Services and Siebel EAI as per the business requirements. Candidate should be able to design, test, implement, troubleshoot, and documents all assigned areas of responsibility within the Siebel area under very limited supervision. Responsible for adhering to the architectural standards of the team, department and industry. Must effectively communicate with other development team members and demonstrate the ability to deliver quality results in a timely fashion.
Primary Duties / Responsibilities
• At least 8 years of IT experience with Siebel Technologies.
• Atleast one Siebel 8.1global call center implementation experience.
• Expert in workflow processes, assignment manager and eScript and Browser scripts.
• Document and gain sign of requirements per Business Requirement Documents and Systems Requirements Documents.
• Provide the LOEs for the development scope requests.
• Work with Offshore team and make sure to get the deliverables are on track.
• Coordinate with external teams to migrate the changes into production.
• Well versed in coordination, planning and release management efforts for Siebel CRM solution.
• Ability to provide daily / weekly progress report to the offshore & onshore team.
• This position may require 24/7 on call availability and possible work over the weekends.
• Expertise to Analyze, Design and Develop Siebel Call Center application requirements based on best industry standard as per the business needs.
• Expert in Task Based UI and other, Personalization rules, signals, variable maps, data maps, run time rules etc.
• Monitor Logs and Alerts and trouble shoot any and all problems related to Siebel CRM solution.
• Ensure application is operating effectively based upon business requirements and suggest improvements to Architect / Tech Manager.
• Provide support, administration, maintenance and troubleshooting of Siebel CRM application, work with offshore team members on new enhancements and appropriate trainings, monitor success of implemented solution, coordinate with project team on a day to day basis and create appropriate documentation to support the Siebel solution.
• Implement new and upgrade existing application functionality as assigned.
• Maintain proper documentation for work flow processes, LOV's, Migration plans, standard operating procedures, topologies, and web statistics in accordance with business requirements.
• Complete proper testing of the assigned task, arrange service from software provider, monitor progress and document incidents according to departmental SLA's.
Requirements (Education, Certification, Training, and Experience)
• Candidate will possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Leadership skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Functional knowledge of Siebel CRM applications
• Avaya CTI experience preferred
• Working knowledge of business requirements and system requirements methodology
• Strong analytical and problem definition and solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Positive, "can-do" attitude, projecting a high quality image for the company in all activities.
• Although not a management position, the ideal candidate will to lead and mentor other developers.
• Shows initiative and is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively and present a professional image.
• Solid communication skills - both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to manage details and priorities in a fast paced, intense environment.
• Highly proactive with ability to "push back" when appropriate in order to prioritize activities.
• Responsible with sensitive and confidential information.
