Job Description:
Candidate should have strong functional experience with SAP PS and
integration knowledge with other Logistics modules. At least 4 + years of
SAP experience, among 2 full life cycle implementation projects experience
and 5+ years of domain experience. SAP PS Certification is preferred. 4+
years of SAP experience desired. Education: 4-year degree in computer
science or related field or equivalent experience.
Must have Strong SAP PS Configuration and Presentation skills
. Must have good experience in preparing functional specifications
. Must have Integration / Implementing experience with SD and MM modules
. Must have strong knowledge PS,MM,SD Business processes
. Must have good experience in data uploading Tools like LSMW etc
. Must have good experience in reporting Tools like Query etc.,

Qualified candidate: Will work with BW resources to develop project systems
reports.
Seeking a functional analyst in PS module with 2-3 implementations. This
person will report to the Data Conversion Lead and will be assisting in
implementing PS in SD and MM from legacy PeopleSoft systems. Experience in
order/billing and WBS balances and masters is highly sought.
Core member of the Client IT- MTS Application Management team responsible
for delivery of SAP solutions and providing ongoing support to the existing
user base (support, enhancements, and project work).
- Partners with other team member to design and develop functionality that
address business functional requirements
- Quickly assesses business functional requirements and converts to SAP
application solution
- Validates recommended approach with Business SMEs and BSM Service Managers
- Creates detailed functional specifications
- Estimates work based on high-level requirements and break down complex
requirements into small manageable tasks
- Performs and tests configuration changes
- Creates and executes unit test plans
- Provides exceptional functional support to existing ECC users
Position Description
Works primarily in SAP client/server enterprise. Plans, conducts, and
directs the analysis of business problems to be solved with SAP. Partners
with users to identify, evaluate, and develop solutions and procedures which
are cost-effective and meet user requirements. Understands content,
processes and procedures associated with enterprise applications. Applies
functional knowledge to design and customize workflow systems that enable
these functions. May plan and execute unit, integration, and acceptance
testing.
Minimum Requirements
4+ years in business analysis, requirements definition, and building SAP
systems solutions.
Additional Knowledge & Skills
The ideal candidate would meet the following requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of functional experience in SAP Project Systems (PS)
- Solid understanding of the Order to Cash business process with Resource
Related Billing
- Experience with project based revenue recognition (Results Analysis)
- Experience with customer projects, capital projects, expense projects, and
R&D projects
- Experience with fixed assets and investment management
- Experience with time and expense entry to projects
- Ability to work based on high-level requirements and break down complex
requirements into small manageable tasks quickly
- Deep configuration expertise
- Excellent communication skills
In addition to the above, the optimal candidate would have:
- Understanding of revenue recognition process for SD (SD rev rec and SD
based results analysis)
- General accounting experience
- Experience with SAP Multiple Resource Scheduling (MRS)
- ITIL v3 knowledge
Education
4-year degree in business, finance, accounting or related discipline, or
equivalent experience.
