Responsibilities Of SharePoint Developer Consultant

Requirement:


Position: Lead SharePoint Developer

Location: NY

Duration Of Project :  2-3 months

 

 

Need of a MS SharePoint expert to drive forward a project aimed at designing a tool, within MS SharePoint 2010, to serve as the central document repository and status reporting platform for the Group's portfolio of projects. The specific job requirements and responsibilities are outlined below:

 

Job Responsibilities:

•Gather Business Requirements: Work with applicable business areas (DMO, FRM, ORMA, IRC / SIRA, Markets Group business line management) to gather detailed metadata requirements for project reporting.

• Perform Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis between full requirements list and functionality currently available within the COMPANY'S SharePoint application

 •Design & Test Tool: Based on the detailed business requirements, design the tool within FRBNY's SharePoint 2010 including library lists, reporting views, and relevant site permission, and perform successful testing of the tool's functionality.

•Develop User Guide & Policy Document(s): Develop and communicate to users the policy and user instructions related to the tool (e.g. setting up a new project, updating the information on a periodic basis, etc.).

• Train Users: Develop and lead training for users of the tool.

•Facilitate Initial Data / Document Population: Facilitate the initial set-up and population of project documentation and information in the tool.

•Design expertise in SharePoint 2010 required;

•Business Requirements gathering expertise required;

•Ability to successfully drive projects from start to finish with minimal guidance;

•Project management experience preferred;

•Excellent organizational, planning, communication and analytical skills;

•Strong written and verbal communication skills;

•Proven ability to lead concise and effective discussions in both formal and informal settings;

•Experience with establishing a project status reporting and document repository process a plus;
