Job Description:

Requirements

·         Solid understanding of UML and other process modeling techniques

·         5+ years of experience developing in C#

·         5+ years of experience developing web based solutions using ASP.Net

·         5+ years of experience working with T-SQL (including the development of stored procedures, views and triggers)

·         3+ year of experience working with web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML

·         Experience using SSRS and/or SSIS

·         Experience using WCF

·         Experience designing and/or reporting against a Data Warehouse

·         Knowledge of the REO industry

·         Knowledge of the real estate industry

·         Knowledge of the mortgage industry, in particular default servicing

·         Mortgage or Financial services background would be a nice to have for these roles

 

Position Overview

Work with the development manager to establish the vision of the application and to ensure its on-going quality. Work with the development manager to identify tasks, establish work effort estimates and determine the work schedule for the development team.  Analyze business processes in order to define functional requirements and technical specifications for both the application and its development framework. Evaluate and analyze systems operation and makes recommendations for improvements and modifications to ensure optimum functioning of implemented systems.  Work with team members to develop application functionality based on the supplied specifications and using the team's common development framework.  Review the technical work of junior members to ensure that it is consistent with industry best practices and adheres to the team's standards. Prepare documentation and provide training, guidance, assistance and knowledge transfer among staff.  Design and develop approaches that will be implemented by junior team members as well as provide instruction, guidance and mentoring.

Solid understanding of UML and other process modeling techniques

Solid understanding of design patterns and object-oriented design practices

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to write quality, stable, scalable, and maintainable code

Ability to oversee junior team members and ensure that all assigned tasks are completed on-time and to specification

Comfortable working in a team environment

Excellent documentation skills

Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
