Urgent Direct Client Requirements: 1) .NET Developer 2) Front End Developer

      Hi  

 

     We have the following requirements with our Direct Clients:

 

    1)    NET Developer

 

      Location: Deland, FL (or) Brentwood, TN / Duration: 3-6 Months

 

The Developer is responsible for development of a project for Disaster Recovery and Synchronization of decentralized clinical system environments.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

·        Technical development using a combination of .NET technologies including but not limited to C#, ASP.Net, Windows Services and third-party APIs

·        Work with the PM/BA to understand the business requirements and document functional specifications

·        Code development,  code review, unit testing and release documentation

·        Work with QA/SCM team for code builds, releases, test case design and defect resolution

·        Assist with quality assurance tasks, including test data preparation, defect root cause analysis

·        Work with Team Lead/Project Manager for planning, estimation, documentation and status reporting

·        Mentor other teammates on .NET technologies, design and development

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

·         Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent

·         Minimum of 5 years experience in the design and development of .NET applications in an enterprise IT environment

·         Highly skilled in Web Application architecture and design.

·         Highly skilled in use of Design Patterns and development frameworks.

·         Proficiency in writing SQL

·         Proficiency in Windows Server System architecture required

·         Experience with IIS setup and configuration desired

·         Experience with different software development life-cycles such as Agile and SCRUM.

 

    2)    Front End Developer

 

      Location: Los Angeles, CA / Duration: 12 Months (Local Candidates Highly Preferred)

 

Responsibilities

·         Design, develop, test, deploy, and document front-end code for digital asset management web sites, including:

o        Implementing new enhancements to our existing web sites

o        Troubleshooting issues with our existing systems

·         Work on an team of software developers, business analysts, systems analysts, testers, and managers

·         Share acquired skills/knowledge with team members and mentor junior developers as necessary

·         Actively contribute new ideas and programming concepts to the team

·         Follow coding standards

 

Requirements

·         Deep experience in most (preferably, all) of the following:

o        JavaScript

o        jQuery

o        CSS (2 & 3)

o        AJAX

o        ASP.NET MVC 3 and Web Forms

o        HTML (4 & 5) and XHTML

o        XML and JSON

·         Experience developing web sites requiring cross-browser/cross-platform compatibility

·         Working knowledge of IIS (preferably 7 or 7.5)

·         Familiarity with the services-oriented architecture, in particular ASMX, WCF, and RESTful services

·         Can take a high-level idea and develop it into something tangible with little or no guidance or supervision

·         Proactively initiates, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with team members

·         Knowledge of coding and testing best practices

·         Actively seeks opportunities to broaden and deepen knowledge base and proficiencies

·         Must possess excellent problem-solving,  analytical, written and verbal communication skills

 

Bonus (nice to have, but not required)

·         JavaScript MVC experience is a big plus

·         Web design experience

·         UI and UX skills

·         Digital asset management (DAM) experience

·         Experience with mobile technologies

·         Working knowledge of Team Foundation Server (TFS)

·         Agile/Scrum development experience

 

Experience

·         At least 5 years experience as a front-end .NET developer

·         BA/BS or higher
