Title: Unix Build Engineer

Location: San Jose, CA

Duration: 12 - 16 weeks

 

Summary of Position:

The candidate must have 7+ years experience in administering and extending ASIC's development environments on Linux / Unix environments

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build / Configure / Document Ericsson R&D ASIC's development environment
• Troubleshoot problems on engineering resources
• Puppet manifest creation
• Release management
• Monitoring system configuration and tuning
• Red Hat Satellite server
• Kickstart and provisioning new machines

Required Skill set:

The successful candidate will have knowledge in the following areas

• Perforce
• LSF
• Red Hat RHEL 5, SuSe 10/11 – They will need to be very good with Linux Red Hat.
• Strong interpersonal, and verbal and written communications skills

Desirable Skill set (nice to have):

The successful candidate should have knowledge of installation and configuration of the following ASIC's development tools

• Synopsys VCS  80
• Synopsys DC
• Synopsys synplicity 12 /tools/synplicity
• Cadence-Denali
• Cadence Denali_SIM_pcie
• Xilinx libraries
• LSF lsf_base
• IBM TheGuide
• Broadcom libraries
• gcc, make, gmake
