PL/SQL Developer- Need locals to WI for F2F Interview

Location: Madison, WI

 

Length of Assignment: 6 months

Essential Job Duties:

1. Works with Data Architects and Designers to create detailed designs and data models for solutions
2. Works with Application development teams to create applications and services
3. Advises and works with individual developers to create well performing database queries
4. Deploys solutions in accordance with DHP's Change Management policies and procedures throughout all test environments and into production.
5. Designs, develops, implements, and supports database solutions
6. Develops and tests stored procedures (PL/SQL for Oracle or Transact-SQL for SQL Server)
7. Applies performance tuning experience to database/application solutions
8. Assist with the identification of performance bottlenecks to ensure peak performance
9. Works with Enterprise DBA's to determine appropriate storage and recoverability aspects of future solutions
10. Provides input to help forecast future database/application administration, monitoring, and testing needs
11. Resolves incident tickets as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

1.       5+  years of experience in the information technology field working with database development including Database Administration

2.      3+ years of experience working with either:

1. Oracle
2. SQL Server
2. Proficient understanding of relational modeling
3. Demonstrated ability to work in a team setting within a corporate environment
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication

Preferred:

1. Experience working in Health Insurance, Insurance or Health Care industries
2. Experienced working with multiple database management systems
3. Experience working with multiple system development methodologies
4. Experience working with data warehouses and understanding of dimensional modeling
5. Experience working with Erwin.
