Very Urgent REQ: Sr. Java J2EE Developer in MN for 6-12 Months

Role: Sr. Java J2EE Developer (8+ yrs. exp candidates only)

Location: MPLS, MN

Duration: 6-12 Months + Contract

Pay Rate: OPEN

Interview method: Phone & Skype Interview

 

Senior Java consultant with very strong back-end development skills responsible for handling:

Asynchronous message processing

Implementing RESTful web services and Multi-Threading

Developing automated functional and load tests

Approximately 90% coding, 10% meetings/interpersonal interactions with product management and other developers/ etc.

 

Required Skills:

·         Strong Java development skills (ideally 6-8+ years' experience);  prior lead experience strongly preferred.

·         Strong experience developing applications that utilize a RDBMS.

·         Extensive knowledge of and experience with multithreaded application development required.

·         Experience working with Linux servers from a development perspective.

·         Ability to work in an agile/ scrum environment.

·         Resourceful and driven;  able to work independently with little to no hand-holding. 

·         Demonstrated success delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
