Title : Senior Server Administrators (2 Position)

Location : Pittsburgh PA

Duration : 18 Months Contract

Max Rate : $38/hr on C2C(All Inclusive)

Job Requirements:

***Required 2 Senior Server Administrators to support an 18 month integration project in Pittsburgh PA ***

PROJECT:

AS a result of a corporate acquisition/merger, client needs a Team (including these 2 Senior Server Administrators) to integrate networks.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Experience in various operating systems: i.e. Windows and/or Linux

- 5 years' experience in the in the provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure.

- Proficiency in administering open-source and SQL databases to support the migration effort.

DELIVERABLES:

Typical Sites Tasks Required:

- Ensures that system hardware, operating systems, virtualized servers, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational policies and procedures.

- Installs new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements

- Develops and maintains installation and configuration procedures

- Recommends innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks, including virtualized environments

- Applies OS patches and upgrades, and upgrades administrative tools and utilities.

- Configures / adds new services as necessary

In addition the Senior Server Administrator may be required to:

- Install DB software/executables to meet SAP standards (drive layout for data files & logs)

- Transfer or Replicate Data

- Import / Export DB from one DB vendor to another DB vendor

- Install and test upgrades and patches
