Required Skills/Experience:
· Desire strong experience with Open Source tools and platforms
o SCM tools (ie. SVN, Git, MKS, TFS, Perforce)
§ Tools that support Java and .NET environments
§ Mainframe experience is a plus (ie. Endevor)
§ Installation, administration and support
§ Build custom process driven workflows, templates, reports, charts and dashboards
§ Write automation scripts/triggers
§ Strong working knowledge of configuration management principles and their application on open source platforms
§ Familiarity with CMMI/ITIL model standards
o Build Tools
§ JEE/.NET builds
§ Multi-module projects and dependencies
§ Packaging/Deployments
§ Maven/Ivy/Ant
§ Exclusions/Classifiers
o Continuous Integration (ie. Jenkins/Hudson, OpenMake Mojo, TeamCity, etc.)
§ Enterprise level administration
§ Installation, upgrade, plugin dependency, troubleshooting
§ SCA, test automation, code quality reporting
§ Master/Slave high availability clustering
§ Integrations with Sonar, Nexus, etc.
o Repository Management (ie. Nexus, Artifactory)
§ Familiarity with FOSS and indemnification
§ Component Lifecycle Management
o OS/AppServers (ie. RHEL Linux, JBoss, Windows)
§ Linux systems administration
§ Shell/batch scripting/cron jobs/SSHd/troubleshooting
§ Familiar with JBoss platform/libraries
· Must be effective communicator and comfortable working with senior engineers at technical levels
· Enterprise development experience with distributed applications is an advantage
Nice to haves:
· ALM: PTC/MKS Integrity, TeamForge, TFS
· DB: Working knowledge of Oracle/SQL
· Programming: Java, iOS, Android, Ruby, Javascript, Delphi
· IDEs: Eclipse, NetBeans, WSAD, JBDS, VS.net
· Provision/Deploy: Puppet, Chef, uDeploy, Nolio, etc.
· QA: Quality Center, QTP
· Others: Tasktop
