Job Title/Role: Technical Lead
Project Duration: 6 Months+
Job Location: Weehawken, NJ
Mandatory Skills: JAVA/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, (JMS/MQ/TIBCO EMS), UNIX, Oracle
Role Description:
• Strong candidate with at least 10+ years of industry experience preferably supporting the back office applications
• Lead / Manage software feature development
• Expected to be over 50% hands-on
• Working experience in Build Automating Frameworks e.g. Teamcity
• Need to have test driven development experience
• Should be able define coding standards, design patterns and develop proto-types
• Gather requirements from business users and maintain product backlog
• Communicate priority of work
• Review code and work performed by the team
• Serve as primary contact for Production Services for releases
• Serve as primary contact to other onshore IT and business teams
• Understand the QA requirements and the various types of testing
• Able to perform regression, facilitate user acceptance test
• Prior experience working with complex multi-function applications involving middleware technologies highly desirable
• A thorough understanding of the network, firewall concepts and external connectivity a must
• Ensure knowledge management by documenting and making it easily accessible by the team
