Position Summary :

The Risk Modeling Analyst will be responsible for delivering data driven insights on various business problems across the lifecycle of BFS solution offerings

Key Activities :

* Collaborate with TCS Product and Business Analysts to:
   - Refine & enhance BFS reporting to increase the effectiveness and relevance for senior management
    - Assist in providing the business with analytical insights
    - Drive consistency in reports for the client
* Develop detailed understanding of product management, underlying client systems & data.
* Make recommendations to aid strategy development, improve analytical techniques and resolve data integrity issues
* Identify issues and opportunities relating to performance of the product portfolios, strategies and reporting
* Participate in customer engagements / PoCs and ensure high quality delivery, within estimated time.

Qualifications:

* Excellent presentation skills using SAS, SQL, Excel with VBA, Word & PowerPoint
* Ability to translate complex reporting requirements for clients into meaningful presentation is critical
* Expertise in analytical tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, R). Strong SAS skills of data manipulation  and procedures will be an added advantage
* Deep understanding of business metrics and parameters. Ability to apply right statistical tools to business case
* Identify issues and opportunities relating to performance of the product portfolios, strategies and reporting
* Proficiency in product management, product analytics, systems, reporting and data management
* Thorough understanding of the banking & financial services (BFS) sector
* Excellent communication and writing skills are essential

Education & Experience:

* Bachelors or higher in Economics, Statistics, or MBA Finance
* 5 - 7 yrs. experience in finance/business/statistical & financial services
