Solaris/AIX/Linux Admin required in PA at $50 per hr

POSITION

Title: Solaris/Aix/Linux Administrator

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: Long Term

Rate: $50/hr

 

Description:

Provide senior level support for the monitoring and performance troubleshooting of our Solaris 9-11, RedHat 4-6 and AIX servers. The expectation is that the candidate has the very good Unix skills and is also willing to learn fast. This person will be assisting other teams with IT support functions and maintenance activities on an as needed basis. Extensive knowledge in Solaris OS including zones and domains on Oracle M and T series hardware. 

-Extensive knowledge of SAR, prstat, fsstat, NetStat, IoStat, dtrace, NetWork traces, snoop, top and other performance analytic tools.
-Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
-Experience with SUN cluster.
-Experience with IP multi-pathing, storage multi-pathing and SAN OS boot.
-Working knowledge in Perl/Shell scripting
-Knowledge in Veritas Cluster and Volume Manager a plus
