Description:
The candidate will need strong Project Management experience delivering Data Warehouse and/or Business Intelligence solutions in large complex data warehouse environments. The candidate will need to be delivery focused, and accomplished at representing the needs of the project in program level interactions with the GMI upper management team. To do this successfully, the candidate will need to possess a combination of assertiveness and the ability to communicate well with a demanding audience.
Below are attributes and experience essential for this position:
· 15-20 years of experience delivering enterprise projects in Fortune 500 companies.
· 7 to 10 years of experience as a project manager delivering Data Warehouse and/or Business Intelligence solutions.
· Proven and demonstrable ability in leading large teams in a matrix managed environment.
· Delivering Data Warehouse solutions in a complex retail environment is desirable.
· Managing multi-disciplinary teams, overseeing technology leads for data architecture, Data Warehouse architecture, and ETL development with Offshore development teams.
· Managing projects with multiple dependencies as part of large program initiative is essential.
· Possess strong analytical abilities and be highly skilled at complex problem solving.
· Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle.
· Strong communication and visual presentation skills essential with ability to deliver complex messages to a varied audience including both IT and Business Stakeholders.
· Proficient in the use of MS Office, MS Project, and MS Visio.
· Technical background in EDW and MDM solution is essential.
Below are the major responsibilities for this position:
· Manage all aspects of Data Warehouse development project that is part of a larger program acting as a primary interface to the internal customer(s) with respect to planning, execution, status reporting and completion.
· Establish project objectives/scope, schedules, and budget while maintaining progress throughout to meet certain milestones.
· Drive resolution of complex issues and/or risks.
· Ensures adherence to TJX Software Development Process.
· Represents project within larger program.
