Role: PeopleSoft Techno-functional Consultant (HRIS)

Location: Hercules, CA

Duration: Long Term

 

Description:

This position reports to Global HRIS Manager.  The techno-functional consultant will provide application support for our key global applications to support approx. 8000 employees in multiple languages - PeopleSoft and Success Factors BizX Suite (Compensation, Goals and Performance management). The consultant will work closely with HRIS team and HR functional experts to provide innovative solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Lead design, configuration and/or code and unit test small projects that require changes to PeopleSoft, Success Factors.

·         Gather business requirements, analyze business processes and provide options using best practices.

·         Assist with periodic system upgrades and prepare data mapping for conversion requirements.

·         Develop and maintain integrations between PeopleSoft core HR, Success Factors and external applications.

·         Develop test scripts tied to business requirements and act as an independent tester.

·         Communicates with HRIS team and business process owners on a routine basis.

·         Manage documents including business requirements, business process flows, functional and specifications, Technical design, configuration workbooks, etc.

·         Key Player to support roll-out of Success Factors' Performance module for 2014 Focal.

·         Manage IT Service requests/incidents related to PeopleSoft and Success Factors.

Work directly with vendors on system issues, patches, upgrades, downtimes, etc. to provide excellent support and proactively communicate to users.
